Audience and Intended Use

Target Audience  

The modules are aimed at undergraduate nursing education. They may also be useful learning tools for faculty, nurses in practice, and other health professionals. 

Intended Use

The modules were designed for flexible use in courses or self-directed learning.  

Together, the modules and simulations serve as a fulsome learning tool on climate-driven infectious disease. The modules may also be completed separately to impart information on one topic area relevant to the learner. Faculty may wish to select specific modules, based on the learning outcomes, that best fit within their course syllabi. A certificate of completion is available at the end of each module.

The modules serve as a pre-briefing for the accompanying set of virtual simulations. At the conclusion of each module, a link to the accompanying virtual simulation is provided. 

Technology Requirements

• For the best learning experience, we strongly recommend completing the modules on a desktop or laptop computer; however, they can be accessed on a mobile device if needed. 
• Speakers or headphones for audio component.
• Stable high-speed internet or access to Wi-Fi or wired connection.
