Getting Started

MyCASN is the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing (CASN) online member portal. Through MyCASN, users can:

  • Register for CNEI online courses
  • Access the CNEI/Moodle course platform
  • Manage course registrations
  • View their course history
  • Post jobs to the CASN Career Centre
  • And more!

CNEI Courses & Online Learning

To access CNEI courses, you must first create a MyCASN account using the same email address associated with your CNEI/Moodle account. Create an account at https://my.casn.ca/registration

If you are unable to access your course, please verify that:

  • You have created a MyCASN account.
  • You are using the same email address associated with your CNEI/Moodle account.
  • You are using your MyCASN login credentials.
  • Your password meets the current security requirements.

If you continue to experience difficulties, please contact CASN support comms@casn.ca for assistance.

  1. Visit https://my.casn.ca/registration
  2. Enter the same email address used for your CNEI/Moodle account.
  3. Create a password that includes:
    • At least 8 characters
    • At least one uppercase letter (A–Z)
    • At least one lowercase letter (a–z)
    • At least one number (0–9)
    • At least one special character (e.g., !, @, #, $, %, &, *)
  4. Select the appropriate user role (Dean, Faculty, Student, or Individual).

No. When your MyCASN account uses the same email address as your CNEI/Moodle account, you can access current and previously completed courses.

New courses are available through the Online Learning menu within your MyCASN account. 

All registrations and payments for new courses must be completed through MyCASN.

Once you have registered, you can access your courses:

Log in to MyCASN using the email associated with your Moodle account and your MyCASN password, then visit https://courseportal.casn.ca/.

Once you are in the course portal, remain within the portal to access your training courses.

Career Centre & Job Postings

  • Create or log in to your MyCASN account
  • Select Post a Job
  • Complete the form
  • Choose a posting duration
  •  Submit your order

Pricing varies based on membership status and posting length. Example: a 30-day posting for member schools is $310

Yes. Job postings are limited to approximately 500 words or one page. Additional pages incur additional fees.

Job postings include an optional logo for the posting organization. Attachments such as PDFs are not included in standard postings and may be added for an additional fee.
