CASN is pleased to announce the release of Nurse Practitioner Education in Canada: National Framework of Guiding Principles and Essential Components.

Developed in response to changes to entry-level competencies for NPs in Canada, the updated NP education Framework reflects the expertise of NP educators, practitioners, administrators, regulators, and employers from across the country. An iterative process of national engagement and a validation survey helped ensure the Framework reflects diverse perspectives and contemporary NP education. The new Framework provides nationally informed guidance to support high-quality, relevant, and responsive NP education across Canada.
