Thank you for participating in CASN’s 2025 Council Meeting!
Your participation is key to shaping the future of nursing education.

CASN’s 2025 Council Meeting took place on November 17–18 as an in-person event co-chaired by CASN President-Elect Rani Srivastava and CASN Executive Director Jean Daniel Jacob. We were honoured to begin the meeting with a song and blessing from Grandmother Irene Compton of the Minwaashin Lodge.
During the Annual General meeting portion of the Council meeting, we shared key updates on CASN’s operations and finances, along with highlights of this year’s activities supporting our strategic plan. We were privileged to host an outstanding lineup of presenters and speakers who addressed critical topics in nursing education, sparking meaningful discussions and reflections among participants from across the country.
During the CASN Awards ceremony, we celebrated colleagues for their exceptional contributions to nursing education. The results of the 2025–26 elections for CASN’s Board of Directors, Awards and Nomination Committee, and Accreditation Bureau were announced.
CASN extends sincere thanks to our event sponsors, and the generous donors and bidders of the Pat Griffin Silent Auction, which raised $3,487 in support of nursing education research. Finally, we thank the 134 attendees who joined us in person during this pivotal time for nursing education.
