CNEI Advisory Board Call for Expressions of Interest

The Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing is seeking members for the Canadian Nurse Educators Institute (CNEI) Advisory Board. Please review the following information before completing the expression of interest form. The form will take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete.

Mandate

The mandate of the Canadian Nurse Educator Institute (CNEI) is to develop and provide quality professional development opportunities for nurse educators in Canada. The CNEI cultivates excellence in nursing education in Canada. The committee reports to the CASN Board of Directors.

Representatives Needed

The CNEI Advisory Board is currently seeking to fill the following positions:

  • A community representative in a practice or policy role
  • Two regional representatives from the Quebec region
  • One regional representative from the Ontario region
  • One regional representative from Western-Northwestern region

Term of Office and Time Commitment

This is a committee of the national office with a term of 2 years, renewable up to two times. The time commitment for Advisory Board members is approximately 10 hours per year. The committee will meet virtually a minimum of twice per year. Committee members are asked to participate to the best of their ability.
