CASN is excited to unveil its new all-Canadian website and publishing platform for its bilingual peer-reviewed journal Quality Advancement in Nursing Education – Avancées en formation infirmière.
This dynamic journal aims to serve as a platform for discussing questions and issues specifically related to quality improvement in nursing education. In collaboration with esteemed scholars in the nursing community, QANE-AFI is published three times per year, championing excellence in nursing pedagogy by showcasing groundbreaking research, theoretical insights, and policy discussions from both Canadian and global perspectives.
Our state-of-the-art QANE-AFI platform uses Open Journal Systems (OJS), an innovative open-source journal management and publishing software developed and supported by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP) based at Simon Fraser University in Canada. This transition reflects the journal’s commitment to being a diamond open-access publication, dedicated to providing free access to high-quality research in nursing education.
Designed with a Canadian ethos, OJS offers QANE-AFI enhanced bilingual and French features, further enriching the publication and dissemination of research in both of Canada’s official languages.
We invite submissions in English, French, or both languages, and encourage you to explore our new platform to contribute your work and dive into past issues. Join us in advancing nursing education—your voice matters!
