EVIDENCE-INFORMED DECISION MAKING WEEK-LONG INTENSIVE WORKSHOP

Evidence-Informed Decision Making (EIDM) is the purposeful and systematic use of the best available evidence to inform the assessment of various options and related decision making in practice, program development, and policy making. The week-long workshop uses small and large group learning activities to develop knowledge and skill in searching for, accessing, and critically appraising the relevance and quality of evidence; interpreting and applying the evidence; and identifying strategies to implement evidence-informed decisions. The workshop is open to participants of all skill levels in EIDM, including clinicians, nurses, advanced practice nurses, administrators, managers, librarians, and all health professionals.
