Changing Tides in Critical Care Nursing: Riding the Waves Together to Provide Quality Care

Dynamics 2016  *  Charlottetown, PE  * September 25 to 27, 2016

Critical care nurses have always been on the leading edge of change. The realities of our aging population, increasing complexity of disease and treatments, rapid advances in technology and environments of care, funding limitations and shifting societal expectations are forces that drive this tide of change and test our capacity to lead and adapt. Dynamics 2016 in Charlottetown will address how these tides rise and recede in a never-ending cycle. We will explore the vital role of the Canadian critical care nurse in collaboratively building the future of critical illness care for Canadians. We will share new knowledge, inspire leadership and nurture innovation. Delegates will be galvanized and prepared to navigate and be the difference, today and in the future.

The Dynamics of Critical Care Conference™ 2016 is the annual national conference for the Canadian Association of Critical Care Nurses (CACCN).   Diverse programming allows participants to choose from a broad selection of evidence-based topics that are geared to enhancing clinical practice, leadership, education and research. With varied critical care learning opportunities provided, participants design educational agendas to meet their own unique needs. Dynamics brings colleagues together from coast to coast, providing a forum to share ideas and experiences in a new and exciting Canadian location each year.

The Canadian Association of Critical Care Nurses / Association Canadienne des Infirmières et des infirmers en Soins Intensifs invites submissions for oral and poster presentations in the general topic areas of clinical practice, education, research and leadership.  New for 2016 – Electronic Poster and Mastery Level Workshops.
