Monique Mallet-Boucher, a Senior Teaching Associate at the University of New Brunswick. A nurse educator for the past 26 years, she holds a master's degree in Nursing and Education.  Monique is presently enrolled in the Joint PhD in Educational Studies at Brock University, in the Field of Cognition and Learning.  The focus of her studies is on formative assessment and its potential to foster the development of higher thinking skills and abilities necessary to thrive in nursing in the 21st century and beyond.
