| Who developed the CASN Accreditation Program? | | | | CASN members developed the CASN Accreditation Program. In 1972, the CASN Committee on Accreditation developed CASN’s first Accreditation Program. In 1995, CASN members were consulted and collaborated to further enhance the program’s ability to assess excellence in nursing education programs. From 1999 to present, the Task Force on Accreditation has held think tanks and workshops with CASN members and stakeholders to receive input to develop the new CASN Accreditation Program. Approximately, 30 CASN members have participated directly with these groups, and 225 CASN stakeholders have provided feedback to the new CASN Accreditation Program. | | |
