CASN sent out a survey to its 88 members to investigate the efforts that Canadian schools of nursing have made to increase the level of student enrolment and graduates. This study had the objective to examine the activities undertaken within last 3-5 years by the schools of nursing to increase over 1999 levels the number of students in undergraduate and graduate level programs, as well as future possible initiatives to further increase student enrolment, including identified resources and support. This was funded by Health Canada.
