Who we are

The Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing (CASN) is the national voice for nursing education and research, and represents nursing programs in Canada. CASN is also the accrediting agency for nursing programs offered throughout Canada

Our Newsletter

CASN publishes a monthly newsletter, which is published on our web site. The newsletter is accessible to both our members and to the general public alike. CASN members consist primarily of nursing faculty of 91 educational facilities, and key health organizations, government agencies across Canada. Copies of the NewsUpdate is also regularly submitted to the National Library of Canada for archival purposes.

The NewsUpdate offer regular sections including:

  • Calender of Events

The Career Opportunities and Calendar of Events are “living" sections that are accessible at various entry points throughout our web site and are always current. Brief descriptions of our newsletters are as follows:

IMPACT - Annual Report
CASN’s official publication is produced once a year (Winter). The major content of this publication includes business related to the CASN mandate and its members.

NewsUpdate
The intention of this publication is to “package" useful information, received at CASN throughout the month, and make it available to our readership. This newsletter is published from January to June, and, from August to November.

 

Our Rates and Specifications

Calendar of Events
We offer to publish your function, usually free of charge. However, it must be related to, or of interest to our members. Simply submit your event to us by e-mail at inquire@casn.ca.

Employment Opportunities
There is a nominal fee to publish an employment opportunity posting on our web site. Rates are as follows:

Note:

  • Rates above include all applicable taxes and are subject to change.
  • An extra charge of $100 is applicable for each extra page

Standard ads should contain approximately 250 words of text and/or be one page in length. There will be an additional charge for multi-page ads. CASN welcomes ads in French and/or English and will post ads in the language(s) in which they are submitted.

Ads are posted each Friday. Please submit your advertisement 3 business days prior to posting. We request that all submissions be sent electronically in Microsoft Word or PDF format to inquire@casn.ca. Please include your logo should you wish to have it posted with your advertisement.
